I miss you so much! I met Kimani at McKinney High School when I joined fashion club; We bonded instantly and stayed close over the years. Although we both traveled anytime we were in the same place he always made sure we connected. Kimani was the most funniest and genuine people I have ever met. I will never forget the many memories we shared over the years and the impact you’ve had on my life. I remember when we traveled to Houston for my 19th birthday and got into a minor accident, I was freaking out and you stayed so calm and positive. I have never saw you not smiling with the deepest of dimples. If I knew our last conversation would be the finale, I would have said so much more. ❤️📼

This is for Kimani’s family and friends, I just want to let you know that he is still travelling with me in my heart, I became a flight attendant 1 year ago and I wrote his name on a leather tag that is attached to my bag and I take him on all of my travels… We said we’ll go to Antarctica together, I’ll take him with me there too so he can complete his last continent. I met him in Zanzibar in 2021 when he broke his leg and since then we always saw each other every other months when we were coming back there. I’m French but my mom is Ghanaian, our love for Africa united us, we connected because we had a lot in common, we liked each other and we were good friends for 1 and a half year, and he once asked me what he could do to marry me, I answered « wait until we know each other well for 4 years and ask me again »… My heart keeps crying since he left, I would love to know where his grave is so I can say goodbye, no matter in which country it is, I miss him everyday, he was an amazing soul, I wish I told him that

Hi, My name is Victoria Hill. You don’t know me, but I’m a friend of Kimani’s. I met him at FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising). I know it’s extremely late, but I want to send my heartfelt condolences the family. I’m heartbroken after just finding out, through other friends that he connected me with, that Kimani passed earlier this year. I honestly don’t even want to imagine what my life would have been like, in LA or even now, without knowing him. I thank God for bringing him into my life when he did. I pray for your family’s continued healing. To my favorite world traveler and the brightest light in my life: I’m so sorry I’m late. I love and miss you man. Rest peacefully PLZ RWD Forever 💔📼🤍🕊️
